Corporate Account Executive

Under the direction of the VP Business Development, the Corporate Account Executive is accountable for leading CLG’s sales efforts in support of business growth/expansion to meet financial objectives. This includes identifying targeted prospects; solution development; MSA negotiations; and facilitation of new business implementation.

Primary Responsiblities will include but not limited to: Reviews market analyses to identify emerging needs, potential sales volume, and prevailing pricing practices within the industry. Develops and implements the company's sales strategies focusing on new business acquisition; current business expansion; and initiation of business within new markets/verticals. In partnership with the Marketing Manager, establishes relationships with target prospects in identified markets to assess needs and commence the selling process.Collaborates with Solutions Development Group (SDG) to develop and present solutions that align with customer/prospect requirements.   Actively consults with CLG’s customers/prospects on the value CLG's solutions bring to their supply chain/transportation management challenges (waste reduction; increase customer service/speed; expense management; flexibility).  In partnership with Operations, provides the Marketing Manager with information on industry/competitive trends in customer/prospect preferences and requirements in support of new product development.  Ensures the accurate and timely completion of RFP/Q's from targeted prospects by Marketing and Commercial Strategy; validates CLG's responses in line with prospect's articulated requirements. Negotiates with prospects to close new business agreements. Measures the effectiveness of sales efforts to continually improve new business growth; develops and implements countermeasures for identified gaps in process and/or outcomes.  Builds strong personal relationships with internal and external customers, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner.  Represents CLG at trade/industry conferences to promote the company and establish new business relationships.

Experience in managing multi-location corporate account relationships and in soluations sales/services. Previous experience with B2B sales. Knowledge of and experience with SCM concepts and logistics/transportation industries. Demostrates understand and application of finanical measures/pricing/proiftability analysis with strong business acumen capabilities.

Previous logistics/transportation experience preferred. Experience in solution sales and services required. This position is available in Atlanta, GA (travel required up to 50%).

 Cheif Financial Officer 

Coastal Logistics Group, Inc. (CLG) currently has relatively non-complex finance needs but will experience increasingly complex financing and reporting needs as a result of growth trends that the company is currently experiencing in addition to aggressive growth objectives for the next 3 to 5 years that ownership plans to undertake. The ideal CFO candidate will possess a unique mixture of entrepreneurial hands-on mindset in addition to very strong analytical skills and managerial accounting experience.
 

The CFO role will:
1. Have heavy emphasis on reporting, while requiring the CFO to focus broadly on the finance, accounting, I/T and rate/quotation departments and functions.
2. Provide both operational and programmatic support to CLG ownership, executives and management.
3. Supervise the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for CLG.
4. Report directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assist the President/CEO (and in the future the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and the securing of new funding.
 

The CFO will partner with senior CLG leadership to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The CFO must be able to adapt to an entrepreneurial, fast paced, challenging, and evolving environment and will need to thrive in a deadline-oriented workplace.

Engineer

Coastal Logistic Group, Inc. is searching for an engineer who will be responsible for packaging design, transport drawings, and lifting plans including design certification, production of drawings and design calculations.

 Successful candidates should have a strong understanding of engineering principles application and be able to effectively interface with internal/external customers to ensure timely and safe shipment of our customers’ products. Detailed candidate requirements and job responsibilities are specified below.
 
Candidate Requirements:
-          Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering required
-          Professional Engineers License in Structural or Mechanical Engineering required
-          Use of 3D Parametric Modeling software required (Auto Desk Inventor, Auto Desk Algor, AutoCAD experience preferred)
-          Minimum 5 years related experience
 
Must possess strong skills in the following areas:
-          Risk Analysis
-          Decision making abilities
-          Organization
-          Interpersonal relationships
-          Knowledge of transportation of high wide heavy cargo a plus
-          Knowledge of industry regulations for rail, road, air and sea a plus


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-          Develop packaging design concept
-          Prepare packaging drawings of the design concept
-          Prepare design calculations to validate that design criteria have been met
-          Certification of designs/drawings
-          Prepare associated non-structural drawings
-          Prepare transport drawings for rail, road, air and sea
-          Prepare lifting plans for various lifting methods
-          Evaluate technical equipment needs to meet the capacity plan/product design
-          Developing project/program estimates
-          Prepare method statements for critical shipments
-          Interface with third parties to review designs of lifting equipment, etc.
-          Conducting site surveys and attending customer meetings
-          Provide input to quotes and subcontracted work
-          Maintaining project/job files
-          Reviewing project/program performance and conduct lessons learned
-          Writing procedures for the lifting, handling and securing of high, wide and heavy components
-          Ensuring compliance to government, industry and internal requirements
-          Using engineering principles and standards to solve transportation related issues with emphasis on heavy dimensional product, lifting arrangements, stability, design of shipping fixtures, and knowledge of the transportation industry
-     Analyzing risks and developing mitigation plans

Material Handler, Packer and Crate Builder - TENNESSEE LOCATION

Material Handlers: at least two years experience forklift operation required. Load/unload with experience with an RF Scanner preferred. The right candidate will have experience picking and packing parts, use of a WMS and knowledge of maintaining an accurate inventory.

Crate Builders: to manufacture export packing and crating. The right candidate will have experience in woodworking and fabrication along with a broad understanding of materials, power tools and ability to ensure accurate measurements. Some heavy lifting is required in this position. Must maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Previous experience in logistics industry is a plus.

Packers: to hand pack freight. At least two years experience in a warehouse environment is required. The right candidate will have experience picking and packing parts and work in an efficient manner.

Candidates must have a flexible schedule to work 1st or 2nd shift.
