500 and Counting!

Posted: Tuesday December 6, 2011 • Category: Uncategorized

CLG is proud to announce the arrival of the 500th rail car into it’s 50 Sonny Perdue facility in Savannah, Georgia.  Rail service has only been in place for 8 months at CLG and the volumes are increasing daily.  There is still capacity to grow with existing infrastructure but with new customer’s coming on board each month,  CLG anticipates adding a second rail spur to accommodate additional needs in 2012.

Rail cargo remains strong throughout the Southeast and CLG has positioned itself to service the market’s need.  With it’s close proximity to the GPA’s Garden City Terminal and Norfolk Southern’s switch yard as well as it’s robust IT capabilities, CLG is poised to add tremendous value to rail shippers.
